Kool Jazz Live At Warmdaddy's - Philly

Kool Jazz Live With Drambuie

Kool Jazz At The Doubletree Hotel

What's up lovers of entertainment? This is Kool Jazz, also known as K. J., here's a brief summary of the areas of endeavor where I can operate effectively.

I came into the business playing guitar with a rhythm and blues band - more blues, than rhythm - here in Philly. A good band but, they had bad management. This eventually caused me to leave the band. After leaving the band I opened up a "club," situation - Club City Life. It was quite successful. Once you have something thing successful everyone wants to work with you, work for you and just associate with you.

Here is a list of of areas of participation:
Booking bands, DJ's, comedians, models, etc.
Promoting shows of various types, fashion shows, bus    excursions, cocktail sips, astrological events (Sagittarius, Aquarius parties. jazz events,
       masquerade balls, fetish events,
Special situation events: Cinco De Mayo, John Coltrane's birthday aka Equinox, New Years, Pineapple Sip, After Parties, Meet & Greet Parties.
Varied locals: Philadelphia, New Jersey, Baltimore, New York, Wilmington, New Castle Delaware,
Various, to name a few: Cheney College, Temple U, U of P, Both High Schools in Camden, NJ, The Impulse, Warmdaddy's, Barbers Hall.
A large number of clubs whose name has been changed or the club has changed hands a number of times.  Love Park (City of Philadelphia)
Chalmers Park & Recreation Center (City of Philadelphia) Cecil B Moore Recreation Center & Rayburn Park (City of Philadelphia)

Around 1972 I designed and built a studio on Columbia Avenue (now called Cecil B, Moore), studio was called, "Musicor*  Recording Studio."

Producing the Blues Avenue TV show led to me producing all of the TV shows that aired on Channel 7, WOCB as well a number of music videos.
I also produced the Blues Avenue Radio Show. WPEB 88.5 FM.
This led to various incarnations of the Blues Avenue Band. The band still performs with me as the lead vocalist and guitarist.

My mother got sick, and I retired from the entertainment scene and taught music theory and harmony, guitar, bass and piano I have been doing that for the last 12 years or so.

I am looking now to get another commercial building and set up another studio using the latest digital gear and concepts. Streaming is big and I plan on being a major part of it. I already have a target location, but the Corona situation has everything-as far as economy goes-frozen in place.

In passing I have cameras, digital recording equipment, bass, guitars, bass & drums.

I can't get into the full magnitude of my scope and capabilities. Here is a sample of some of my music live and in the studio. Check out the music and get back to me with your input.
